One of our greatest tastes that we participate in, either physically or virtually, to strengthen ourselves, have a good time, to clear the mind or to sit and release the passion for the colors with which we identify.
However, few are those who consider themselves part of sport, or that sport is part of their lives, why? Because they have established that sport is only for those who get a monetary benefit or remuneration, for carrying out some activity sporty.
But, let’s pay attention to what we think or believe, since SPORT, means:
I copy from English, Sport: from desus. sport ‘fun’, and this one of deporting ‘fun’.
– 1.m. Physical activity, exercised as a game or competition, the practice of which involves training and subject to rules.
– 2. m. Recreation, hobby, pleasure, fun, or physical exercise, usually outdoors
So, do not worry and let’s say that you too can call yourself and feel like a SPORTSMAN if you practice or participate in any sport, also do not belittle yourself, for your “NO” sculptural figure or for your little resistance to finish the game.
And another day we will talk about professionalism, amateurism, etc., etc.
What is important, go to any discipline that attracts you to practice or exercise that you like, your body needs it and you [SPORTSMAN] will notice the difference.
2020 is leaving and it has left lessons at all levels in life, lessons in patience, obedience, resignation, pain and many others and among all of this, the need to transfer from our routine of seeing them, to engrave in our minds forever, the names of those, who for those of us who love sports, filled our eyes with amazement, admiration and surprises, with MAGIC in their disciplines.
That is why we take advantage of these lines of sport, to humbly remember them and for how much or little we can remember about them, to say thank you for having been part of our life.
– Don Larsen, Yankees Pitcher.
– Kobe Bryant, Lakers basketball player.
– Don Shula, American Football player and coach.
– Tom Seaver, pitcher for the Mets.
– Diego Armando Maradona, “EL 10”, soccer player, world idol.
– Papa Bouba Diop, idol footballer for Senegal AND the world in 2002.
– Paolo Rossi, footballer, Italian idol in Spain 1982.
– Stirling Moss, “The Champion Without Crown” motorist.
-Marlene Ahrens, Athlete, the only Chilean woman to win an Olympic medal for her country.
And so many others whom we will always carry in our memories and hearts, THANK YOU for making us so happy with that special magic.
LONG LIVE SPORT FOREVER!
