We teach the Certified Specialist classes in Dementia Originated by Alzheimer’s,

That Qualifies and Qualifies graduates to care for and cognitively stimulate diagnosed patients.

We teach classes on the prevention of prediabetes, an annual course, in which Quality of Life is acquired through changes in habits and customs, taught by our collaborators Lifestyle coaches certified by the CDC.

Within the educational communicative activity, we have sections on our Facebook page with different topics focused on disease prevention.

Let´s talk about Alzheimer

The loss of a person’s ability to use their mind and the progressive decline of their cognitive abilities, to a level that interferes with social and occupational functioning: it is known as DEMENTIA caused by Alzheimer’s.

In 1906 Dr. Alois Alzheimer noticed changes in the brain tissue of a person who died of mental illness.

The most striking symptoms were:

-Loss of memory

-Language deficit

-Erratic behavior

Which led him to investigate the causes, establishing the first clinical case of the disease.

We must understand that none of these symptoms is a sign of aging, it is that there is a problem in our BRAIN!!

Learning what are the signs and symptoms of the disease, the possible causes and treatment strategies, for people living with DEMENTIA caused by Alzheimer’s, is what will alert us to this disease.
